What are your experiences and areas of service that you believe will be valuable in your role as a General Conference delegate?
I am a Certified Lay Minister serving in Discipleship Ministries at The Chapel Ministries. I serve on the SGAGMC Lay Cabinet as the Lay Leader for the Brunswick Connectional Community. I have been active in the Methodist Church for over forty years. I served as a General Conference Delegate in 2000. I have a Doctorate in Education and I am a retired University of Georgia Public Service and Outreach faculty member with thirty years of experience in building leadership capacity in communities. I am a Senior Fanning Fellow and served as Director of the J.W. Fanning Institute for Leadership from 2000 until my retirement in 2006.
Describe why you believe that God has potentially called you to serve as a General Conference delegate.
I love the Lord and I am passionate about His Mission on Earth, and about Making Disciples of Jesus Christ and spreading scriptural holiness globally.
