Presiding Elders

About Structure in the SGAGMC

Every church in the SGAGMC is placed in a geographical Connectional Community to encourage opportunities to connect and serve together with other local churches in its calling. Each of our 14 current Connectional Communities is shepherded by a Connectional Community Presiding Elder. A group of connectional communities form an Area which is served by an Area Presiding Elder. These Presiding Elders are commissioned primarily to serve and facilitate the mission of the local churches and clergy.
