Where our funding goes…
While the South Georgia Annual Conference is not currently receiving support through apportionments, our expenditures are wholly funded through donations by churches and individuals. Our goal is to support the minimal administrative structure and expenses necessary, allowing for more resources to directly support local ministry in churches in South Georgia as well as the continued development of clergy.
The South Georgia Annual Conference strives to be good stewards of the funds entrusted to it and remain resolute in our mission to empower the local church and its mission in Georgia and the world.

Required giving for GMC Churches:
0% of Operating Income to the South Georgia Annual Conference
1% of Operating Income to the Global Methodist Church
Your South Georgia Annual Conference serves in its missional calling as it supports the local church. As we have decided to not require Connectional Giving in support of the Annual Conference, we can only do this important work through the generous financial support of our churches. We are hoping you will consider contributing 2% or more to the South Georgia Annual Conference as you are able.
