What are your experiences and areas of service that you believe will be valuable in your role as a General Conference delegate?
I was honored to serve the South Georgia Conference as a General Conference delegate in Costa Rica in 2024, an experience that deepened my understanding of the Global Methodist Church and the importance of collaborative leadership. Being selected to serve again for the 2026 General Conference would be both a privilege and a responsibility I take seriously. I plan to carry forward the insights gained in 2024 and apply the lessons learned to help guide thoughtful, informed decision-making. Additionally, my service as secretary for the Connectional Council has provided me with a strong working knowledge of denominational needs, which I believe will be invaluable as we continue to shape the future of the church through responsible governance and faithful service.
Describe why you believe that God has potentially called you to serve as a General Conference delegate.
I believe God may be calling me to serve as a General Conference delegate out of a deep sense of responsibility to help guide the GMC through our continued growth and transformation. Over the years, I have experienced God shaping my heart for servant leadership - rooted in humility, active listening, and a willingness to learn. My journey at The Chapel, my service as a member of the Connectional Council, and my participation in the 2024 General Conference have all affirmed my conviction to step forward in service, trusting that God equips those whom He calls.
