What are your experiences and areas of service that you believe will be valuable in your role as a General Conference delegate?

I have served in all the Chair positions in my church through the years - Chair of Staff Parish, Chair of Administrative Board or Church Council, Chair of Trustees, and member of Finance Committee and Church Council. I have served at the conference level Board of Ordained ministry, Episcopacy Committee and Chaired the Personnel Committee for 10 years in former denomination (UMC). In addition, I have served at the Executive Team Level in our new Global Methodist Church S. Georgia Conference since its inception. I was elected as an Alternate Delegate in 2023 and due to illness of another Delegate, was elevated to Delegate to the Convening Conference of the Global Methodist Church in Costa Rico in September 2024.

Describe why you believe that God has potentially called you to serve as a General Conference delegate.

We worked very hard and often late into the evening in Costa Rica and I was excited to participate as a member of the Legislative Committee on Ministry and The Local Church. There is still work to be done in that area and if elected I would be pleased to attend and further the work of this committee.
